In the event of inclement weather that requires the closure of the office, Nelhuayo will follow the policy of the Greater Albany Public Schools as announced on radio and television/ FlashAlert. Early closings will be decided on a case-by- case basis and patients will be contacted as soon as possible to reschedule or possibly change the appointment to telemedicine consult if appropriate.
Please let me know at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule. If two cancellations are made without 24 hour notice (within a 1 year period), I will request a credit card to be kept on file and appointments will be paid at time of scheduling.
If you are late for an appointment, we can proceed with a shorter visit but you will be charged at the rate we originally agreed upon. You may also reschedule and it will count as one of your cancellations. If I have time after your appointment, I may agree to shift the schedule to accommodate your full session but this is not guaranteed.
